Vermont’s Topnotch Resort to Add Residences and Renovate Facilities

Topnotch Resort in Stowe, Vermont, will expand with 27 new residences and renovate existing facilities, starting in 2026.
Topnotch Resort in Stowe, Vermont, has announced plans to expand its facilities by adding 27 new residences and renovating existing resort amenities. The project is set to begin in 2026 and will be completed in phases to ensure the resort remains operational during construction.
The new development will include a three-story building integrated into the existing resort infrastructure. The residences will offer one- to four-bedroom units, ranging from 1,000 to 2,400 square feet. Features will include open floor plans, large windows, and private storage in a climate-controlled underground parking garage. Some units will have dens, private terraces, and lock-off studio suites.
Residence owners will have access to the resort’s amenities, including a wellness spa, fitness center, tennis academy, and dining options. The resort offers a rental management program for owners who wish to lease their residences when not in use.
In addition to the new residences, the resort will undergo several renovations. These include an expanded lobby, upgrades to all 68 hotel rooms, and renovations to the resort’s two restaurants. The spa and pool areas will also be restored.
The development is expected to create approximately 500 construction jobs and add 28 to 34 permanent positions in hospitality, spa, food and beverage, and property management services. The project aims to boost local economic activity by increasing visitor spending in the Stowe area.
The development team includes AWH Partners as the developer, Spire Hospitality for operations and management, VOCON for architecture, and Coldwell Banker Carlson for sales.
