Four Points by Sheraton Newark Airport Opens
NEWARK, New Jersey—Officials of Shaner Hotels announced the opening of the 109-room Four Points by Sheraton Newark Airport in Newark, New Jersey. The recently upgraded and converted hotel is one of a select few area lodging options that offers pickup from Terminals A, B and C, which enables guests to bypass the designated shuttle areas found elsewhere throughout the airport.
“The Four Points by Sheraton Newark Airport marks Shaner’s second hotel in the New Jersey marketplace as we continue our mid-Atlantic expansion plans,” said Elias Thompson, regional vice president of operations. “This growth allows for shared best practices and economies of scale, both of which benefit the guest and the hotels. This hotel is designed to meet the needs of modern travelers seeking comfort, convenience and style, and we fully expect it to quickly become the market leader.”
The hotel is located less than one mile from Newark Liberty International Airport and works in tandem with the connected, manned, secure parking lot next door, allowing guests the ability to use the lot for long-term parking at a daily rate. Nearby attractions, including MetLife Stadium, Prudential Center, American Dream Mall and downtown Newark. Hotel amenities include a 24/7 fitness center, a convenience store, and 2,025 square feet of flexible meeting space. Guests may choose to dine at Skyline, a 9th floor restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.
