U.S. Hotel Industry Reports Positive Comparisons
ARLINGTON, Virginia—The U.S. hotel industry reported positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar’s latest data through September 26.

Occupancy: 69.7 percent (up 6.4 percent)
ADR: $179.43 (up 7.4 percent)
RevPAR: $125.06 (up 14.2 percent)
Performance growth was elevated on the positive side of the Rosh Hashana calendar shift.
Among the top 25 markets, Orlando, Florida, saw the largest occupancy increase (up 18.6 percent to 68.3 percent).
Miami, Florida, reported the highest rise in ADR (up 19.8 percent to $177.65).
San Francisco, California, registered the largest RevPAR lift (up 35.1 percent to $223.16).
Phoenix, Arizona, was the only top 25 market with a decrease in RevPAR (down 0.5 percent to $99.09).
